Three youths charged following disturbance in Edinburgh

Police officers responding to reports of a disturbance in Edinburgh have charged three female youths in connection with the incident.

The disturbance was reported at around 3pm on Wednesday on Gilmerton Road.

Police confirmed that the three youths were traced a short time later and have since been charged.

No further details about the nature of the disturbance or any injuries have been released at this stage.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
