Three people have been charged with terrorism offences after a Palestine Action demo in Edinburgh.
Two women and a man were arrested after police attended a demonstration in support of Palestine Action at Regent Terrace, outside the US consulate in Edinburgh, on Saturday, October 31.
It coincided with a similar protest taking place outside the US embassy in London.
The trio have now been charged under the Terrorism Act relating to supporting a proscribed organisation.
Expressing support for the group is an offence under the act after it was proscribed in June 2025.
Police have said that extensive enquiries remain ongoing to identify people seen wearing t-shirts and holding banners showing support for Palestine Action.
Evidence is being reviewed and further action will be taken as appropriate, a spokesperson confirmed.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The force said: “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
