Three people have been charged after a teenager and man were allegedly attacked in separate incidents in the same street.

The first incident happened in Grahams Road, Falkirk, around 7.15pm on Saturday when a 16-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by four men.

A short time later, a 51-year-old man was subjected to an alleged assault in the same street.

Police said two 17-year-old boys and a 21-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.

They are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.

Police said inquiries are continuing to trace a fourth man, who is described as being of Asian appearance, aged 21 to 40, 5ft 9in, and wearing dark clothing.

Detective inspector Rob Andrews said: “We are continuing to appeal to anyone in the area at the time of these incidents who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.

“Anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
