A child has been taken to hospital following a crash on Monday evening in Edinburgh.
Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on the capital’s Pennywell Road at around 6.10pm.
The pedestrian, a ten-year-old girl, was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.10pm on Monday, January 23, we were made aware of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Pennywell Road, Edinburgh.
“The pedestrian, a 10-year-old girl, was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People to be checked over.”
