A 15-year-old and an 18-year-old have been charged following the incident outside High Valleyfield Health Centre.

Two teenagers have been charged after a man was racially abused and assaulted outside a doctor’s surgery in Dunfermline.

The man is understood to have been leaving a medical practice on Chapel Street, High Valleyfield around 7pm on April 24, when he was targeted.

Following a “positive line of enquiry”, police confirmed that two male youths, aged 18 and 15, have been charged in connection with an assault and racially aggravated behaviour.

A report into the incident will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that two males (aged 18 and 15) from High Valleyfield have been charged in connection with an assault and racially aggravated behaviour.

“This relates to an incident on April 24 near to High Valleyfield Health Centre.

“A report will be submitted to the PF.”
