A teenager has been taken to hospital after falling from a flat block window in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Margaret Thomson Crescent in the Leith area of the capital at around 9.40pm on Monday evening.
A 16-year-old boy was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment following the incident.
An investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.40pm on Monday, April 26, we received a report of a person having fallen from a window in the Margaret Thomson Crescent area of Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a 16-year-old male youth was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
