A teenager has been charged in connection with 28 motorcycle theft offences across Edinburgh.
The 14-year-old was charged on Tuesday, July 5, by officers from Police Scotland’s Operation Soteria team – the force’s divisional response to significant community concerns linked to the theft and antisocial use of motorcycles across the city.
The charges included numerous counts of theft as well as a number of road traffic offences.
He is reportedly subject to several “significant conditions” to prevent further involvement in criminality – though police did not specify what these were.
He will appear in court at a later date.
