A teenager has been arrested following a crash near a roundabout in Fife.
The 17-year-old was taken to hospital after the collision on the A92 between Crossgates roundabout and the Halbeath Park and Ride at around 10pm on Tuesday evening.
He was understood to have sustained minor injuries and was released from care shortly afterwards, when he was subsequently arrested.
Fire crews also responded to the incident, but no one else was understood to be injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10.15pm to a report of a one-car crash at the Crossgates roundabout at the junction with the A92 on Tuesday, August 22.
“The driver, a 17-year-old male, was taken to hospital.
“He was also arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.”
