A teenager has been charged in connection with an attack that left a man in hospital in Edinburgh.
The 32-year-old victim sustained injuries amid reports of an incident involving a “weapon” at the property on Parkgrove Road in the Clermiston area of the capital on Saturday evening.
A 16-year-old, who cannot be named, was charged in connection to the incident at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
The man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for further treatment.
His current condition is unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.50pm on Saturday, August 27, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Parkgrove Road in Edinburgh.
“A 32-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, August 29.”
