Six men were arrested during Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebrations.
One of the arrests involved a 17-year-old male who was allegedly found on Frederick Street with an “offensive weapon”. He was further arrested in connection with a hate crime.
Three other men, aged 22, 26 and 42, were arrested for minor public order offences and a 37-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Another man was charged in connection with “offences relating to flying a drone”.
Airspace restrictions were in force for unmanned aircraft to fly below 2,000ft above sea level within one nautical mile of Edinburgh Castle from 6pm on Wednesday until 2am on Thursday.
