A teenager has been charged with murder after the death of a man found injured on a street in Edinburgh.
John McNab died after being found injured on Great Junction Street at Bonnington Road around 2.10am on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended, and the 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He made no plea during an appearance at Oban Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The teen, from Edinburgh, was charged with murder and carrying a bladed weapon in a public place.
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
The boy will appear in court again within eight days.
