Hundreds of thousands of fans are set to descend on Edinburgh this week to see Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated Eras Tour at Murrayfield stadium.

The pop megastar will play three sold out gigs on June 7, 8 and 9, attracting more than 200,000 revellers to the venue.

As Swifties prepare for what is expected to be an Enchanted night, many will be wondering what they can take inside the stadium with them.

Fans will be permitted to bring one bag with them that can be no larger than A4 unless it is required for medical or childcare purposes.

Similarly, small amounts of food can be brought into the stadium if required for medical and childcare purposes. Food and drink will be available on site, as well as drinking water from any bar or food outlet.

The stadium does not have bag drop facilities so customers with larger bags are required to take them away and deposit them in a safe place before entering.

For the safety of those in attendance, Murrayfield has a list of prohibited items that will not be allowed into the stadium.

On the venue’s website, fans are warned that bringing certain items into the grounds could result in ejection from the event.
