Suspect charged after death of man found injured in home

A suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a man following an incident at an East Lothian home.

Emergency services were called to the property on Carlyle Gardens in Haddington at around 12.40pm on February 10.

A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he died eight days later. His family have been made aware of the death.

Officers have charged a 41-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
