Emergency services were called to reports of concern for a man at an address on Gartmorn Road in Sauchie at around 12.25am on Thursday.
The body of a 40-year-old man was found within a property.
A 26-year-old has been arrested in connection with assault as enquiries continue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25am on Thursday, December 18, 2025, we were called to a report of concern for a man at an address on Gartmorn Road, Sauchie, Alloa.
“The body of a 40-year-old man was found within. His death is being treated as unexplained and his family are aware.
“A 26-year-old man has been arrested as part of this investigation in connection with an assault.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
