iStockOfficers have arrested a suspect in connection with a woman found injured on a street in Fife.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance on Dunfermline’s Bridge Street at around 2pm on Sunday.
Police discovered an injured 54-year-old woman at the scene. A 33-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.
An investigation is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Sunday, October 12, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Bridge Street, Dunfermline.
“Officers attended and a 54-year-old woman was found injured.
“A 33-year-old woman has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
