Firefighters are battling a blaze at Cupar Trading Estate in Fife.
Emergency services were alerted shortly before 10.30am on Tuesday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has sent nine engines, two height appliances, and a number of specialist resources to extinguish the flames.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.23am, Tuesday, July 21, to reports of a fire within a building at Cupar Trading Estate, Fife.
“Operations control has mobilised nine fire appliances, two height vehicles and a number of specialist resources to the scene where firefighters are working to extinguish the flames.
“No injuries have been reported and all surrounding buildings have been evacuated.
“Crews will remain in attendance for some time.”
Pictures and video posted online show smoke from the site billowing into the sky.
Hamilton Ross Group has closed its depot at the industrial estate after being advised to evacuate the premises for the safety of staff and members of the public.
The plant hire firm said it would update customers on any changes, but in the meantime calls have been diverted to its Perth depot, which is open for business.
