An extensive search of the River Forth has been stood down after clothes were discovered on a beach in Edinburgh.
Officers and Coastguard crews launched a search of the river after clothing was found on the nearby Silverknowes Beach around 12.53pm on Sunday.
Coastguard teams from South Queensferry, Leven and Fisherrow were deployed to the area east of Crammond Village.
RNLI lifeboats from South Queensferry and Kinghorn were also dispatched to assist with the operation.

HM Coastguard said the search was stopped around 5.40pm on Sunday, and no one was reported missing or found to be in distress.
A Police Scotland statement: “Around 12.05pm on Sunday, February 9, 2025, we received a report of a small pile of clothes found on a beach near Edinburgh.
“A number of searches were carried out and no-one was traced.
“We haven’t received any reports of a missing person, however enquiries are ongoing.”
South Queensferry Coastguard said on Sunday: “Our team have been out searching the coastline around Silverknowes Beach in Edinburgh this afternoon after a set of clothes was located on the shoreline close to the Boardwalk Beach Cafe.”
