Search launched for woman last seen boarding train to Edinburgh

A search has been launched for a woman who was last seen boarding a train to Edinburgh.

Moira Fraser was last seen boarding the service at Inverkeithing train station around 10.40am on Sunday.

The 67-year-old is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, with shoulder-length blonde hair. When last seen, Moira was wearing gold-and-brown-rimmed glasses, a long black cardigan, jeans, and black or brown boots.

She was carrying a brown leather handbag with a shoulder strap and two carry handles. She is with her dog, a black female Labrador cross cocker spaniel, wearing a red tartan collar and a black lead.

Sergeant Laura Piercy said: “We’re concerned for Moira’s welfare and are looking to trace her as quickly as possible to ensure she’s safe and well.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing but I’m appealing for help from the public to trace Moira’s movements. Have you seen anyone matching her description? Do you know Moira and think you know where she may have gone? Any information could help.”
