Police have launched a search for two teenagers who have been missing overnight.

Christina Lawson and Cheryl Hutchison, both 17, have disappeared from Stirling and are believed to be together.

The teens were last seen in Spittal Street at around 8.10pm on Thursday.

Both are known to frequent the Stirling, Falkirk and Dunfermline areas.

Their current whereabouts are unknown and police said they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for their welfare.

Sergeant Andy Gardner said: “Christina and Cheryl have been missing for a number of hours now and we are growing increasingly concerned for them. 

“We have a number of resources dedicated to looking for them and I would ask for assistance from the public in helping us find them.”
