A search has been launched after a “woman in distress” ran into the road near Edinburgh Zoo.
The incident occurred between May 25 and May 27 in the Corstorphine area of the city.
Detectives believe that the woman ran into the roadway and was assisted by members of the public.
Officers are looking to speak to witnesses, particularly taxi drivers who helped at the scene.
Those with information are urged to contact Police Scotland quoting reference 2016 of June 2.
