The search for a missing woman at a wild swimming spot in Edinburgh has been stood down.
Emergency services were called to Wardie Bay in the Trinity area of Edinburgh shortly after 3pm on Tuesday.
The HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Prestwick was dispatched as well as Coastguard rescue teams and RNLI inshore lifeboats.
The Coastguard confirmed it had not located the missing woman and the search was stood down at around 8.20pm on Tuesday.
Police Scotland said searches for the missing woman are continuing.
