A search has been launched for a Scottish influencer who disappeared after checking out of a hotel in Morocco on Saturday.
The family of Rachel Kerr, a 31-year-old woman from Dunblane, are “very concerned for her welfare” after she left the Caribbean Village Hotel in Agadir on Saturday.
The travel influencer was last seen at the Smart club at around 5am that day. Family and friends believe she ran out of money on Friday.
Her phone has remained switched off since her disappearance.
FacebookThe travel influencer has been posting about her “girls trip” to Morocco since April 3, on her Instagram account with 9,000 followers.
STV News understands that family members are travelling to the country to assist with the search for the 31-year-old.
Her husband, Peter Kerr, is due to fly to the African country on Friday.
Ms Kerr’s cousin, Claire Hill, said: “Appealing to anyone who may have had contact with Rachel Kerr in the last few days, and any of her contacts in Morocco.
“Please get in touch if you have any information. Her family are extremely concerned for her welfare.
“Last known to be staying in the Caribbean Village Agadir, checked out on Saturday and we’ve not been able to contact her since then.”
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who is missing in Morocco.”
