A man who was reported missing after being last seen at the beach in Kirkcaldy at midnight has been found safe and well.

Steven Buddie was seen at the beach at Pathhead Sands in the town around 12am on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old from Glasgow had been reported missing.

Police confirmed that Steven was found safe and well on New Year’s Day.
