A number of ScotRail services have been suspended after a person was struck by a train in Edinburgh.
The incident happened near South Gyle station and emergency crews are currently at the scene.
The extent of the person’s injuries is currently unknown.
ScotRail announced all trains passing through the affected route are now suspended.
A spokesperson said: “Sadly, a person has been hit by a train at South Gyle.
“Services passing through this station are now suspended while the emergency services attend.
“I’ll update you all as soon as I can.”
