A schoolboy has been charged in connection after a teenager was allegedly “stabbed” in Edinburgh.
A 15-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault on Craigentinny Road on August 16.
A 17-year-old male was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment for serious injuries.
The 15-year-old was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, August 23.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A 15-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Edinburgh.
“Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
“Anyone with information that could assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 4590 of August 16, 2024.”
