iStockA Fife schoolboy has been arrested after a teenager was attacked on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Duloch area of Dunfermline following reports of an assault at around 8.45am.
A 14-year-old was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment. Officers have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am, officers received a report of an assault in the Duloch area of Dunfermline.
“Emergency services attended and a 14-year-old youth was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
“A 14-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
