A schoolboy has been charged with being in possession of a weapon following disorder at a Scottish Championship game.
The incident occurred before Saturday’s Raith Rovers vs Greenock Morton clash in Kirkcaldy.
A 13-year-old boy was charged with allegedly possessing a weapon, and a 16-year-old boy was charged with being in possession of pyrotechnics.
An investigation into the disorder is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers responded to reports of disorder in Kirkcaldy on the afternoon of Saturday, April 26, 2025.
“A 16-year-old male was charged for possession of pyrotechnics, whilst a 13-year-old male was charged for possession of a weapon. Further enquiries into the disorder remain ongoing.”
