Motorists are facing delays during rush hour following a crash on a major road near the outskirts of Edinburgh.
Traffic Scotland warned that the M8 eastbound was closed on the approach to Hermiston following a collision.
Shortly before 5.30pm it reported that drivers were facing delays of approximately 15 minutes on the approach.
It is unclear whether there were any injuries as a result of the crash.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
