Road closed and buses diverted after rush hour crash

A road has been closed and buses have been diverted after a crash in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to Maybury Road after a collision at around 8.15am on Tuesday.

The public has been asked to avoid the area.

The condition of those involved is not currently known.

Lothian Buses confirmed it was unable to access Maybury Road and warned of diversions.

A statement read: “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Maybury Road and are instead diverted via Glasgow Road, Drum Brae and Queensferry Road in both directions until further notice.”
