A crash near Musselburgh has forced the closure the A1 in both directions with motorists told to avoid the area.
The incident took place on the A1, near Wallyford, at around 6.40am on Friday.
It is not known if there have been any injuries.
Emergency services are currently in attendance at the scene and advised the public to avoid the area at this time.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
