A road has been closed after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Edinburgh.
Emergency services responded to reports of a man being struck by a car between Hope Lane and Magdalene Drive around 12.15pm on Friday.
Officers said Duddingston Crescent has been closed off and drivers have been urged to use alternative routes.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Duddingston Crescent in Edinburgh is closed between Hope Lane and Magdalene Drive due to a road crash involving a car and a male pedestrian, which was reported at 12.15pm.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Please use an alternative route.”
