Members of the public have been urged to avoid a Fife street after emergency services contained an incident in the area on Friday.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Cowdenbeath’s Watson Street at around 12.20pm following reports of concern for a person.
Officers have cordoned off the area and remain on the scene.
An image taken of the street shows a fire appliance and a police van blocking the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20pm on Friday, 27 December, 2024, police received a report of concern for a person in the Watson Street area of Cowdenbeath.
“Officers remain in attendance and the incident is contained, however members of the public are asked to avoid the area at this time.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.24pm on Friday, 27 December, to assist emergency service partners on Watson Street, Cowdenbeath.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the area where firefighters remain in attendance.”
