Protesters gather for Gaza demonstration

Protesters gathered in Edinburgh to demonstrate against the war in Gaza.

The protest on Saturday was organised by the Edinburgh branch of the Gaza Genocide Emergency Committee.

A banner held by protesters read “We will not be silenced”.

An elderly woman held a placard which read ‘Stop the genocide’.Another woman wearing a crochet hat in the colours of the Palestinian flag held a sign reading “Stop Arming Israel”.

A young girl wearing a keffiyeh scarf held a placard at the protest.
