An investigation has been launched after a man was attacked on a street in Fife.
Police were called to Drum Road in Dunfermline following reports of a 21-year-old man being assaulted at around 8.45pm on Tuesday evening.
The nature of any injuries is not known, however, an ambulance was not dispatched to the scene.
As of 12pm on Wednesday, no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2024, police received a report of the assault of a 21-year-old man in the Drum Road area of Dunfermline.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
