Police have launched an investigation into the “unexplained” death of a man in East Lothian.
The 66-year-old’s body was found within a property on Forth Street in North Berwick at around 4.55pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware around 4.55pm on Tuesday, 23 March, 2021, of a report of a sudden death within a property in Forth Street, North Berwick.
“The body of a 66-year-old man was found and the death is currently being treated as unexplained. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
