Police are hunting a man in a suit in connection with an assault on a bus in Edinburgh.
CCTV images of the man police want to speak to have been released to the public with officers urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
The assault unfolded on board a number 9 bus while it was at Inverleith Gardens in city around 4.20pm on December 9, 2023.
The man police are looking for is described as wearing a dark grey suit with a purple tie, white, of slim build, with brown hair and facial hair.
He was aged between 25 to 30 years old.
Constable Rachael McIntyre said: “We are keen to speak to this man, who may be able to assist us with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to contact us as soon as possible”.
“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2431 of December 9, 2023. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
