SNS GroupPolice are investigating the “unexplained” death of a man found outside Hearts’ football stadium in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called after a man was found unresponsive on Wheatfield Place outside Tynecastle around 6.30am on Sunday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say the death is being treated as “unexplained” and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.30am on Sunday, September 21, 2025, we were made aware of a man found unresponsive on Wheatfield Place, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
