Three teenagers are due to be reported following an incident inside an Asda superstore which left a police officer with a facial injury.

Emergency services were called to the supermarket on Halbeath Road in Dunfermline around 10.55pm on Thursday following reports of a disturbance.

A female officer responding to the call was injured following an alleged attack.

Two 15-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy are set to be reported to the relevant authorities in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.55pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance within a supermarket in Halbeath Road, Dunfermline.

“A female officer sustained a facial injury when she was assaulted while responding to the incident.

“Two 15-year-old females and a 14-year-old male will be the subject of a report to the relevant authorities.”
