Police make arrest after man found injured in house

An arrest has been made after a man was taken to hospital after being found injured within a house in Falkirk.

Emergency services were called to a property in Grangemouth’s Avonbank Avenue at around 7am on Sunday.

A 22-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment and was later released.

On Friday, Police Scotland confirmed a 24-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.

A force spokesperson added: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
