An appeal has been launched after a car in Perth was pelted with eggs and mud before offensive graffiti was scratched onto the door.

The blue Nissan Juke was vandalised between 8.30am and 1.30pm on Friday September 13.

It was parked on Carnegie Place at the junction of Balhousie Street in the city when the incident occurred.

Detective constable Rachael Shields said: “Extensive enquiries have been carried out and remain ongoing.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the vandalism or anything suspicious in the area at this time to contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who has private CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch.”
