A police helicopter has joined with the mountain rescue team in the search for a woman who has been missing for more than 24 hours.
Sarah Flett was last seen in a Co-op store on Callender Main Street at around 11.40am on Saturday.
The 41-year-old purchased goods before leaving the store.
Searches have been ongoing in the local area on Sunday, including around the River Teith and Loch Venachar near the town.
These have involved the Police Scotland helicopter and mountain rescue team.
Inspector Liam Harman of Stirling Police Station said: “Sarah has been out of contact with her family and friends for more than 24 hours now.
“As time passes we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and would urge anyone who believes they may have seen her to let us know.
“If you have any information at all, even if it didn’t seem important at the time, please get in touch as promptly as possible.”
Sarah is described as being around 5ft 8in tall and of medium build with long brown hair.
She was wearing a distinctive black and white baseball cap with a yellow peak. She was also wearing a light coloured hooded top, blue jeans and tan coloured shoes.
Anyone with information about Sarah’s whereabouts can contact police on 101.
