A man has been taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted in the Borders.
The 31-year-old was found injured in the Kenilworth Avenue area of Galashiels at around 2.45pm on Saturday afternoon.
He was taken to Borders General hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
