A person has been taken to hospital after a two-car-crash during rush hour traffic on the M8.
Officers were alerted to the incident on the eastbound carriageway near junction 4 around 6.50pm on Tuesday.
Police confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital.
The road was reopened around 9.45pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on the M8 eastbound near Junction 4 around 6.50pm on Tuesday, September 3.
“One person was taken to hospital and the road fully cleared by 9.45pm.”
