One person has been charged and another has been hospitalised following a crash in Edinburgh city centre.
Police were called to South Clerk Street at Nicolson Street in the capital at around 5.20pm on Tuesday to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
Officers said a 55-year-old man had been taken to hospital while a 20-year-old man was charged in connection with the collision.
A spokesperson said: “Around 5.20pm on Tuesday we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike on South Clerk Street at Nicolson Street, Edinburgh.
“A 55-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with the crash. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
