A Nashville inspired country-themed pop-up bar has said it is ready to add a “new dimension” to Edinburgh’s nightlife.

Westside Rodeo, which opened up on George Street on Friday, September 27, will serve up country-themed cocktails, premium beers and tequilas, and live music from country artists across the UK.

Visitors will experience a “fully immersive saloon-style interior” and will receive a complimentary cowboy hat upon entry.

The Westside Rodeo comes from the creators of country nights at Freddy’s, and will overtake the space previously known as Eastside and Opal Lounge.

The bar will be open on Thursdays from 9pm to 3am, and Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 3am.

Area manager Gavin Currie said the new pop up is “more than a bar – it’s an experience”.

“Whether you’re a seasoned country fan or someone who’s new to the genre, there’s something for everyone.

“With performances scheduled throughout the week, each visit promises to be unique, filled with music, dancing, and good times.”
