A mountain biker with a suspected back injury had to be rescued from a forest in Stirling following an accident.
Ochils Mountain Rescue Team were called to Hermitage Wood near Stirling on Sunday after the alarm was raised.
A team of ten volunteers were able to treat the casualty before getting the biker onto a stretcher.
They were then taken to a waiting ambulance for further treatment.
In a statement on social media, Ochils Mountain Rescue Team said: “[We were] called out to the Hermitage Woods area near Stirling, just after 12.15 today by Police Scotland, to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service in extracting a mountain biker with suspected back injuries.

“We mobilised ten volunteer team members and the casualty was carefully treated, then loaded into our scoop stretcher for evacuation to a waiting ambulance.
“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery and hope they will be back on their bike soon.
“If you require assistance in the hills or inaccessible areas, dial 999, ask for police, then mountain rescue. Other emergency services will be deployed through Police Scotland as required.
