A motorcyclist who died following a three-vehicle crash near Innerleithen has been named by police.
Emergency services were called to the A72 around 12.40pm on April 11 following a crash involving a black Yamaha YBR 125 Custom motorcycle, a grey Citroen C4 Picasso car and a yellow Citroen DS3 car.
John Murray, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other reported injuries.
Road Policing Sergeant Dave Waddell said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Murray’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank the public for their support during our enquiries. We continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage which may assist our investigation, or anyone who was in the area at the time and has information about what happened, to come forward.”
