A motorcyclist and his passenger were taken to hospital following a serious road crash in Fife.
The smash – between a black motorbike and blue Ford Mondeo – happened on the A909 Kelty to Cowdenbeath road at around 11.50am on Friday.
Emergency services attended and the rider and passenger of the bike, a 66-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman, were taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
The road – near the junction with Gray Park in Cowdenbeath – was closed until 5.45pm for investigation works.
Road policing sergeant Stephen Quinn said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have a dashcam and saw either of the vehicles prior to the crash. Please check back and see if there is any footage which could help with our enquiries.”
