A fire has taken hold of a grade A listed historic mansion in the north-east of Edinburgh.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at Drylaw House, which operates as an events space and exclusive accommodation, near North Groathill Road at around 5.35pm on Monday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service mobilised four fire appliances and a height appliance to the five acre secluded plot.
There are currently 22 firefighters at the scene.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “We got a call regarding a fire at Drylaw House at around 5.35pm.
“We dispatched four fire appliances and a height appliance. There are currently 22 firefighters in attendance.”
