Christmas came early for these cheeky monkeys at Edinburgh Zoo as they were gifted some finely wrapped presents.
The monkeys were pictured getting into the festive spirit at the zoo’s Living Links centre as they eagerly ripped open their presents that had been wrapped by their keepers.
The gifts, an early treat from The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, were boxes filled with nuts and vegetables.
Living Links, a visitor favourite at the zoo, houses brown capuchins and common squirrel monkeys.
